Hello!
Last month I had to take my computer to the shop among other things, that's why there was no newsletter.
But as I had said in July, I've been working on a proposal that it's getting closer and closer to its final shape. I've also picked back an idea I had put to rest and now I'm carefully seeing how it develops. It's nice to be slowly going back to a more productive rhythm.
On more short term news, I've made my own list for Inktober this year, and of course I called it Sapphictober. I never completed an Inktober—either because I wasn't in the mood or because I couldn't—but I've always wanted to seriously try and this year it seemed like a good idea. Let's see how it goes~
Stuff I read
Practical Rules for Cursed Witches by Kayla Cottingham
Haven't read much, especially in August, but this one was a real treat! Pick it up if you love Ghibli + a bit more sass and queerness in the mix. It made me want to draw during the whole read, which isn't that common, so I had to make some fanart.
BTW there'll be a second book out next year, already added to my list!
Stuff I watched
A quick recap:
-Finished The Secret of Us 10/10!!! (the same actresses will now make a pop star/bodyguard series!!!!!!)
-Started The Loyal Pin, sincerely don't know what to make of it, but I keep watching. An interesting note it's that this series is made in partnership with Thailand's Ministry of Commerce, because apparently the Thai government wants to emulate the hallyu but through gayness. (btw these Thai series can be fully watched on Youtube.)
-I haven't watched anything Marvel in a long time, but just 3 episodes in and Agatha All Along is a great surprise? If it gets destroyed later somehow I'll pretend my headcanon is canon and that's it.
See you next month!
